DarkTerra is an overhauled co-op (PvE) vanilla-like cross-play Minecraft survival server with a cursed darkness mechanic that adds peril to the night. Players must build fires to avoid being consumed by darkness at night and use torches when digging deep underground to avoid damage from shadows. Respawn times vary based on cause of death, with up to a 30-minute wait if killed by the curse. Players can collect echo shards by defeating skeletons at night to protect their items upon death or craft golden armor for temporary defense. The server also features modified world generation, structures, biomes, and dungeons, as well as a unique mob spawning system.
