LodeCraft is an AugmentedHardcore PVP server with a custom coded kingdom claim plugin!
With a limited world border of 5000, players fight in competing kingdoms to dominate their surrounding territory and claim as much land as possible. Claims are done through claim blocks. Jukeboxes claim 1 chunk, while lodestones claim the surrounding 5x5 chunks.
Other players are free to break your claim blocks to take land from you, so make sure your kingdom is well defended!

What is Kingdom Conquest?
Kingdom Conquest is a custom coded plugin made specifically for LodeCraft and inspired from real-time strategy games such as Europa Universalis IV and Hearts of Iron IV. If you have played these games before, you can picture each chunk as being the equivalent of one tile. Since land is limited in this server, you will have to be prepared both to fight other players for control of territory, as well as defend your own territory when the time comes. As a result, strategy is important when it comes to managing your land. Over-expanded kingdoms are at risk of being dominated quite easily if caught unprepared.

In order to start your kingdom, you must begin by claiming your capital. This is done through a lodestone, which will claim the surrounding 5x5 chunks and create your kingdom. Once you are holding a lodestone in your hand, use command /kingdom new <kingdom_name> and place your lodestone. (Hint: You can view the chunk outlines by pressing F3 + G on your keyboard).
Don't have the time to mine for the netherite ingot required to craft a lodestone? Refer 3 players and get the lodestone for free! Simply have your friends use command /referral <your_name>.

Once you have started a kingdom, you can claim further territory through the use of jukeboxes. One jukebox claims 1 chunk. Once you are holding a jukebox, use command /kingdom claim and place the block in the corresponding chunk. Any who is not a member of your kingdom will receive Mining Fatigue I while inside your territory or capital, meaning it is advantageous for you to claim the territory surrounding your capital.

But be careful! Anyone can attempt to take land from your kingdom by breaking your jukeboxes and taking them for themselves. Your capital is also at risk, however, only kingdoms who have declared war are able to break your capital lodestone block. This is done through the use of /kingdom war <kingdom_name>. Others will not be able to break your lodestone block, including your own kingdom members.

What is AugmentedHardcore?
AugmentedHardcore is a popular pseudo-hardcore plugin for Minecraft servers. While we want the server to be challenging, we do not want to permanently ban anyone in our community. Currently this plugin is configured to ban you for 1 hour upon PVP death, meaning the stakes are high when it comes to defending your kingdom (or raiding others)! Plan accordingly.
Note: Any other deaths will NOT result in a ban. For example if you die from mob damage, fall in lava, take fall damage, etc, you will simply respawn as normal.
